The trip, in short
A compact 4-day Kenya safari combining a Lake Naivasha boat ride and walking safari with two full days of Masai Mara game drives.
Four days is enough for a genuine taste of Kenya’s best-known wildlife destinations, starting at Lake Naivasha with a boat ride among pods of hippo and fish eagles, followed by a walking safari on Crescent Island — one of the few places in the country where families can walk freely among giraffe, zebra, and waterbuck without a vehicle between them and the wildlife.
From Naivasha the safari continues to the Masai Mara for two full days of game drives across some of Africa’s most concentrated wildlife plains, tracking lion, elephant, and — depending on the season — the tail end of the wildebeest migration. It’s a tight, well-paced itinerary built for families who want the highlight reel of a Kenya safari without committing two weeks to it.
