The property
The Cliff Lodge is set exactly where its name suggests — on a rock face roughly a hundred metres above Lake Nakuru, with a 180-degree view across the water that, depending on the season, can turn pink with flamingos from shoreline to shoreline. It's a small property, just ten tented suites, each with a freestanding bath positioned to face straight out over the Rift Valley rather than back into the room.
The interiors lean deliberately modern against the wild backdrop — considered, international design rather than the rustic-canvas look most Kenyan tented camps default to. Paired with the national park's rhino sanctuary and dense birdlife just below, it's a compact, high-impact stop for travellers routing between the Mara and the northern circuit who want a genuine view to go with the wildlife.
